All laptops brands can differ in their processor's speed and efficiency. Mainly their are two types of processor's- Intel and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).

Intel's processor's include Celeron, Pentium and Core. AMD's processors include Sempron, Athlon and Phenom. Each processor has a clock speed which is measured in gigahertz (GHz). Bus of the processor connects it with systems memory called as random access memory (RAM). Brain of the computer of microprocessor which contains millions of microscopic transistors on silicon chip. It processes the machine instructions of the executable program. Instead of hard disk it uses RAM or cache to take instructions. Due to this the speed of Computer increases greatly. In today's market most computers uses Intel microprocessor instead of AMD because of its fast speed and avoidance of over heating
